We decided to have a chill Fourth of July since Chris had to work and out area was calling for rain most of the day. We didn’t have really have any plans since family lives far and we have not mastered making friends in your 30s. But hey, if your in Greensboro NC and want to be friends with us, that would be awesome!
Anyways, i chose to wear something easy and simple since our day would consist of hanging out at the pool in the early morning with the kids, which was a good idea as our apt pool got crowded by noon. I took the kids home then for lunch which was good since it began to rain around then.
I wore this bathing suit for the pool with the kids.
I went with my overalls and my favorite rust rest cropped tshirt from Target and my favorite white sneakers.
Denim Overalls-How cute are these overalls?! I have never been a huge fan of overalls or jumpsuits as they always felt a little childish to me. But for some reason, when i reached my 30’s, i really liked the look and comfort of jumpsuits, rompers and overalls. I’l more inclined to think that it’s because they make being a mom and running around after the kids makes wearing this style of clothes more fun.
I am wearing an xl this overall, while it is a little tight around the middle of my stomach, it wasn’t too much that I was uncomfortable. I wore this for eight hours at the concert, getting up and down, and laying on our blanket at our spot on the lawn. It was annoying to take off when needing to use the restroom because I was sweaty but the side buttons come off making it easier to put on and remove.
Sneakers-My all time favorite sneakers, the one pair of shoes I have that get worn more than anyone else. These are so comfortable, they are supposed to be a golden goose dupe, i guess but I dont know enough about the shoe brand to say so or not. I’ve worn these for vacations, park days, grocery shopping/errands, trips and now a concert. They are so comfy, look cute and dont hurt my feet at all. I am wearing a size 10.
Cropped tshirt- This is one of my favorite t shirts to wear. It’s a thick cotton blend that falls right around the belly button, it pairs well with any outfit from skirts to jeans, cardigans and workout wear. Amazon1-$19.99 Amazon2-$24.00 Target-$8.00
