Montreal seasoned chicken

I love making chicken for dinner a couple times a week, as it’s quick and easy and it’s one meal I know the kids won’t fight me on eating. Though they love they’re chicken plain, we’re still working on spices with them.

Still their are nights I want something fast and just don’t want to spend a ton of time cooking. On those nights I love useing pre-made season packets for chicken.

This Montreal seasoning is good, but you only need a little, if you add too much it will become very, very spicy. So add a little bit then rub it in and you’ll get just enough spice.

Montreal seasoned chicken

Total Time: 1hour hour 10minutes minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken
  • 1 Tbsp Montreal chicken spice
  • 1½ Tbsp sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste

Directions

  • First mix together the marinade ingredients.
  • Combine tomato paste, mayonnaise, ground black pepper, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt Montreal chicken spice
  • Mix the marinate with the chicken very well. Let it stand for at least 30 minutes
  • Bake at 350F covered with foil, for 40 minutes. Broil or just uncover for another 5-10 minutes.

Notes

If you prefer to grill your chicken, you can grill the marinated chicken drumsticks over medium heat until cooked through. Adjust the cooking time based on your grill’s temperature and the size of the drumsticks.

Just seasoning mix
