summer is here and that means it’s official swim suit season!! I am so excited, I love going to the pool and spending a week at the beach every year. My kids would live at the beach and pool if I let them.
I bought these swim suits from Amazon 2yrs ago and they are still some of my favorites to wear every single year. It also helps that they make my XXL body feel and look amazing in them.
I am 5’3″ and wear a 2x (xxl) majority of the time. Most of the time when I buy my clothes the tag is always an XXL, if I’m buying shorts it will be a 12, 14 or 16. So all of my swim wear is in size XXL.
I have not wore any type of bikini or tankini in years. Not since before I had my oldest whos now a teen. So its been a while but when I saw this swim suit when looking through amazon. I knew this was a perfect suit and boy was I right. It fit well and looked great.
while I didn’t care for the front tie on my own body, I am able to tuck it underneath the top and still looks good. The bottoms are not full coverage and that’s ok for me, but they do hold in my tummy well which is nice in a bikini.

Pink Scallop Swim Suit
Most of my Swim suits are some cute version of a once piece and this is no different. I love the scallop detai. The top does look and feel low cut, but I have not felt exposed or as if my breaststroke will fall out. Mine are a lot more low these days but they still feel well supported when I’m laying down, playing in the pool or running with the kids at the beach.

Green Cutout Swim Suit
This green swim suit is one of my favorites because of the delicate and simple cutouts that make you feel sexy while still getting your mom on. The clasp is a little tricky in the back, but once you get it clasped it stays together. I’ve never had it popping apart which is great.
you definitely need to make sure you sunscreen everything before putting the suit top on or you’ll have an interesting tan or sunburn later.

I wore this swim suit when I was pregnant with my last baby and it was so wonderful and comfy. I loved the ruffle detail to keep it feminine. The top stayed in place and didn’t shift around. It’s such a nice suit and still fits well, that I still wear it as I just love the ruffle detail on this one.
